What’s better than a spur of the moment trip? A spur of the moment trip to the *big apple*! This past weekend I decided to get out of Florida & head to NYC for a few days – it was so fun catching up with friends AND being able to actually rock some fall fashions in appropriateweather!

This fall there are so many fun trends to try – I’m loving all of the nods to previous style era’s like the 70’s & 90’s! One of my favorite trends is the A-line skirt/dress look, especially in jewel tones like maroon or textured fabrics like suede/corduroy. Check out how I styled one to get a super cute look that is perfect for transitioning into fall.

SHOP THE A-LINE SKIRT TREND
Rounding up Millenia Fashion Week was the last event on Thursday – Fashion’s Night In. The show featured several Millenia Mall stores displaying their hottest fall fashions. I decided to rock one of my personal favorite fall trends for the night – the wide leg/70’s inspired look!

The Runway To Hope fashion show/brunch is one of my favorite Millenia Fashion Week events each year because it is such an amazing cause – their mission is to provide direct support & aid to Central Florida children & their families impacted by pediatric cancer. They foster collaborative efforts among corporations, local businesses, and philanthropists to not only raise funds and awareness, but also bring new programs and initiatives to the pediatric cancer community. I love being able to be included in such a special cause!
