A FOR A-LINE

This fall there are so many fun trends to try – I’m loving all of the nods to previous style era’s like the 70’s & 90’s! One of my favorite trends is the A-line skirt/dress look, especially in jewel tones like maroon or textured fabrics like suede/corduroy. Check out how I styled one to get a super cute look that is perfect for transitioning into fall.

SWOONING OVER SUEDE!

I know I keep repeating it – but suede is HUGE for this fall season & I’m in LOVE with this olive green, suede dress from Lulu’s… since it’s sleeveless & short, it’s a great way for me to start integrating fall style into my wardrobe while not dying of heatstroke (ugh, Florida!).

Did I mention the dress is only $48?! Plus, Lulu’s is having a Labor Day sale right now…

To complete my outfit, I paired the dress with another suede item – my favorite black, lace up Shoedazzle sandals then added a fun clutch & mirrored sunglasses!

WELL DRESSED / DISTRESSED [DENIM]

Pieces of distressed denim are one of my favorite ways to spice up an otherwise basic, everyday look. Boyfriend jeans have been HUGE for the past few seasons, and I love this pair fromCurrent Elliot that I’m wearing. Because the overall dip-dyed, bleached boyfriend jean look is such a statement on its own, I went with a simple black strapless top to compliment it. My mirrored sunnies & strappy, lace up snake-skin shoes add some more fun details.

OFF THE SHOULDER & INTO FALL

While crop tops have been the go-to for skin exposure these past few seasons, this summer it seems like the shoulders have made a comeback. Simple, sexy & understated – the off the shoulder dress is a warm weather wardrobe staple that you can even continue to wear into fall! I love the look of this neutral, crisp off the shoulder dress I’m wearing – it will be perfect for transitioning into fall with a pair of booties & some jewel toned accessories. Since it’s still currently 95 degrees here in Florida, I paired it with some strappy, printed sandals & a fun fringe belt to create a chic, yet simple look. Shop the full outfit details below!
